Under the Knife by Diane Fanning - A True Crime Book Review

Dean Faiello had built a thriving beauty business. He was handsome, charming, and a fixture on the New York City club scene, but money was never enough for Dean Faiello. So he decided to work as a cosmetic surgeon, even though he had no medical degree, or any training for that matter. In the spring of 2003, a beautiful, successful woman named Maria Cruz went to Doctor Faiello for a relatively simple cosmetic procedure and died while under his care. Faiello allegedly buried her corpse beneath a concrete slab at his Newark, New Jersey home and then went on the run.

This is about Dean Faiello who pretended to be a doctor and performed laser surgery. One of his patients, Maria Cruz, had an adverse reaction to an anaesthetic he used and because Dean Faiello was already under investigation for performing medical duties without a medical license, he decided not to take her to hospital and she died instead. This is especially tragic as her reaction to the drug could have been treated easily if Dean had been a doctor.

The story outlines Dean Faiello's life as a gay, charming and handsome man and his relationships throughout his life until he was extradited from Costa Rica to stand trial in the USA for the murder of Maria Cruz.

I can usually work out how good a book is by how long I take to read it. If a book is really good I take half a day to finish it. Some books I do not even finish but I must say with true crime books this rarely happens. This book took me 3 days. I think it is well written. This is also the first book that I read that is written by Diane Fanning. I saw her website and promptly ordered 6 of her books. I personally prefer female authors so I decided to check out her style of writing. Not bad. I will read a few more of her books before I make my final decision.

The book goes into the history of Dean Faiello by delving into his early childhood up until the time of the murder. Diane Fanning provides insight into all of his relationships including his adult relationships in order to provide the reader with an idea of the kind of man that Dean Faiello was and succeeds in doing this very well. The book is easy reading and flows effortlessly. I was especially interested in the fact that he had an absent father as I analyze these true crime stories endlessly. I believe that this fact was a major contributor to his later criminal behavior.

If you enjoy reading true crime stories the web is an excellent spot to get up to date.

"America's Assassinations and Aspirations" by Robert Bruce Baird - Reader Review

AppId is over the quota
AppId is over the quota

Secret societies and political involvement have both been topics of much debate throughout history. From the Illuminati, to the mafia, all the way through the KKK, people have been fascinated by their very existence. Various genres of literature have tackled these topics, leading to a peaked human interest carried on through this medium and right to big screen productions. It was only a matter of time that so-called connections were made between news-making events happening in daily society and prominent figures in the political arena. They are the people we look towards for direction and leadership, yet still they fall victim to character flaws and associations.

In "America's Assassinations and Aspirations", author Robert Bruce Baird reveals his own beliefs regarding many of our great historical figures and their involvement in shady organizations that still remain concealed today. Through his research, he shines the cold light of "truth" upon many events that we have come to know as our countries history and attempts to reveal the clockwork precision working behind them. Did Abraham Lincoln really free the slaves? Was Ben Franklin really trying to create electricity with his kite flying antic? Or where there bigger picture events swirling actively around these momentary stops along our perceived time line? As with any work of this nature it must be taken with a grain of salt...choose to believe what you will, research those that you don't. Whatever the case may be, you will certainly be exposed to new theories regarding people held in high prestige and the circumstances that befell them.

Far be it from me to argue for one side or the other as Mr. Baird makes his own opinions stand strong with his investigation into our past as a nation, and beyond. Even the skeptic is allowed "room and board" within this work as he encourages the reader from the beginning to seek further proof through his listed sources as well as their own study. Recommended mainly for history buffs, this text should allow your current historical views to be broadened while raising questions that may still be to this day unanswered. Allow your inner cynic to awaken, if just for a moment, and try on a few of the notions raised by a curiously creative mind.

Opposite Paths - A Serial Killer and an Architect of the Chicago World's Fair

"A thousand trains a day entered or left Chicago." With that opening statement in Eric Larson's historical non-fiction book, The Devil in the White City, the reader is drawn into the compelling story of two men who traveled two diametrically opposite paths in life, one man achieving his greatest notoriety through the planning and overseeing of the infamous Chicago World's Fair of 1893 and one man achieving notoriety through cruel inhumane serial killing.

Both men lived in the second most populous city at a time when countless young people, in particular young women, left home and traveled by train in search of a bright future and employment, many as seamstresses and typists. Chicago was a city often thought of as the Black City because of the coal smoke hanging over the city, the raw sewage, lack of clean water and diseases. Chicago was also a city where many people died from not only accidental deaths but also murder. The author records there were approximately 800 violent murders during the first six months of 1892.

This is the story of Daniel Burnham, an architect, and the crowning achievement of his life, that of being the lead designer and overseer of the fascinating story of the 1893 Chicago World's Fair. This is also the story of H. H. Holmes, a doctor, a licensed pharmacist and an infamous serial killer.

Daniel Burnham minutely planned and oversaw the extreme challenges, obstacles and frustrations that went into the one square mile construction of the 1893 Chicago World's Fair which became commonly known as the White City because all of the approximately two hundred buildings were painted white. The Chicago World's Fair introduced and showcased to the public many spectacular features such as: the gigantic 264-foot Ferris wheel, clean piped water, extensive electrical lighting and clean public restrooms. Much of the fair was a prototype of what Daniel Burnham thought Chicago should look like. This is the story of how thousands of hard-working individuals joined together and pushed themselves against deadlines, to build something magnificently exquisite, beautiful, exotic and positive in the lives of people.

This is also the story of one young man, H. H. Holmes, who walked an opposite path in life and whose actions resulted in cruel and painful death, many of the victims being young women. While the World's Fair was being planned and constructed, Holmes was building his own house a short distance away, which neighbors called a castle because of its immense size. The house contained soundproof rooms, a basement with a hot enough kiln to burn human bodies. Some of the rooms were turned into apartments and other rooms became hotel rooms for people attending the fair.

This is a story that leads the reader to ponder the psyche of human beings. What is there about the human psyche and the environment that will cause some men to follow a path that leads to the negative legacy of serial killing but leads another man to achieving greatness that leaves a positive imprint on the world?

The title of the text is short the assertive table. Aremu makes abundant use of graphics to visually expand the scope of understanding of readers. The cover design is simple graphically communicate non-verbally table. The language is simple, while the ideas are presented clearly.

A mistake is noticed on the outside back cover: "... has over a decade of experience on monitoring activities and for the fight against fraud, many of which have been acquired ..." rather than "... has over a decade of experience in auditing and anti-fraud, much of which has been acquired ..." True Crime Books

AppId is over the quota
AppId is over the quota

True crime books are all true stories of actual crimes. Some of the crimes are either highly publicized as in the case of Caysee Anthony and some of the crimes are only publicized via books. These writers are a special breed of people who use their talent to bring the stories to their readers with intensive information usually on the backgrounds and childhoods of the main characters in the story, details of the crime itself, the investigation and how the perpetrator was caught, the actual court case and other relevant details pertaining to each true story.

Seasoned readers of true crimes have over time established their likes and dislikes of what they prefer to read about in detail. Some prefer a lengthy and detailed investigation while some would prefer the court case to be more detailed. Female crime readers usually prefer more emphasis on the background and childhoods of the main characters so that they can engage in the psychological profile rather.

Reading true crime books and eventually finding out which writers offer the preferred writing style can go a long way to choosing books which you know you will enjoy. A further classification in the choice of a crime book would be to choose as per crime genre. Some popular genres are serial killers, spousal murder and to a lesser extent, mostly favored by male crime readers, is opportunistic murders. There are many more crime genres to choose from as you can imagine from the true crime stories publicized by media outlets such as television news networks and the internet.

For the reader who is thinking of venturing, for the first time, into the world of true crime books, I would suggest reading up on reviews on a few of these crime books. The internet can be great as a tool for finding out which books to read. As you proceed along you will also develop your own likes and dislikes and further guarantee that every book which you decide to read will be enjoyable and possibly start a lifetime passion for reading true crime.

True Crime Book Reviews offers a spot on the web for only true crime books and reviews on them.Further all readers are offered an opportunity to receive a free book to start them off on their journey into reading and loving these books.Choices can be made via true crime genres or by selecting a favorite true crime writer. The reviews will indicate what the true crime writer has decided to emphasize on,be it the background, investigation or court case,or perhaps details on the actual crime.

Dark Assassin by Anne Perry

Anne Perry's mysteries take the reader into the world of Victorian England. Dark Assassin
is the latest in her William Monk series. Monk, who was on the road to becoming Bow Street supervisor, not only solves mysteries, but also explores his own past in this series.

Eight years after awakening in a London hospital with no memory of his life before or how or why he had been run down by a hansom, Monk becomes an inspector with the River Patrol. One winter evening as he and his men patrol the Thames, a young woman and man plunge off a bridge to their deaths in the cold waters of the river.

Even though Monk witnesses the event, due to the twilight darkness, he nor the men with him can tell if the woman went over and pulled the man with her, if the man pushed her and she clung to him, or if they both accidentally went over the side: suicide, murder, or accident.

Mary's, the dead woman's, friends share information with the inspector, raising more questions: The man who died with her had been her fianc?, but she had broken the engagement; Mary's father supposedly committed suicide, which she refused to accept. She had been seeking answers to her father's death and the disaster he predicted. The deeper Monk digs into the lives of Mary and her father, the more questions and problems he discovers, including the fact that London itself is at risk for a major tragedy involving the sewers beneath the city.

Assisting Monk are his intelligent wife Hester and his second in command, Orme. Together they search for the answers needed to clear a young woman's and her father's names. They call upon the lowest in society's ladder to those at the top.

Perry brings London powerful and rich as well as the poor who exist to life. The details she gives creates a world from the 1800s. The book is well written and engrossing. Anyone who enjoys historical mysteries will want to read all of Anne Perry's novels. Personally, I prefer the William Monk and the Thomas Pitt series over her other books.

"I found a girl who walks embedded" is contrary to its best!

What best-selling author Michael Connelly describes as "one of the best watch inside the mind and motivations of a serial killer that I have ever read" authors Kathy Kelly and Diana Montane give readers a real crime of note in I find A GIRL embedded WALKING. Shortly before age embedded technology that change the way law enforcement incorporated handle criminal investigations, Gerald Eugene Stano forever has become one of the most prolific serial killer of his time. No surveillance cameras, cell phones, DNA tests and computer communication between police forces, was fundamentally a simpler time allowing the likes of Stano to ride around in his car Treasury looking for young girls for sex ... or what started this way.

At the end of 1960 and 1970, one could find Stano cruise around the most famous Beach-Daytona Beach, Florida to the world, looking for his next victim. It is difficult to understand why these women went with Gerald Stano that was what one might call a nerd probably (?)-chubby, polyester pants suits and gold jewelry, large plastic framed glasses, disco love drunk (most of the time) and the table did. But the EMBEDDED find a girl WALKING, Kathy Kelly, his experience with Stano, goes inside the mind of this crazy and Montane, Diana collection provides a glimpse into what made him tick.

At the time, Kathy Kelly was a reporter at The Daytona Beach-News Journal and be on the beat "police", was to write the stories of these killings and Stano. Kathy's report captured the attention of Stano as loved, "to read the printout and incorporated only accept interviews, if it was Kathy who made them. The other was his connection with DBPD Sgt Paul Crow. Crow, who had studied at the FBI Academy in Quantico, was able to connect with Are so that no man could act, and so was what Stano put his trust in. Since so many of the murders committed in other jurisdictions, lawmen from those places incorporated work trough Crow face Stano. Once, Stano took a liking to Kathy Kelly, agreed to is questions for her so she could get all the facts and paid. Kathy kept all its letters in a shoe box in his home with thoughts of a work day to put them in some sort of book.

Along with fellow reporter Montane, worked for two years for "history of Stano and the description of the crimes he has committed are convincing. Even more important especially for authors, are the stories of the victims and their families. Taking details from the letters of Stano, the authors have written a disturbing story that the readers will find difficult to put down. Many of the beginning are dedicated to the victims and how their part of the story came about. Yes, some of the women were prostitutes or runaways, but there was also the graduating senior on a class trip, a dancer, a cheerleader, a local swimmer and even a tiny figure skater, the young. All these girls had families and lives in front of them and Kathy ensures that readers know their stories. There are also two of the girls who were equipped with twin brothers, being so victims wasn't the only coincidence. Their families and how they have tackled each loss as well as some of what they are doing today. Braided to make an intense and fascinating reading, I EMBEDDED a girl WALKING will keep you turning pages as you did for me.

Background of Gerald Stano has also written up by unwanted child of a prostitute in a very sought after by child a foster parent who fought to keep him even after he was labeled "inadoptable". Describes the ratio of Gerald with his adoptive parents even until the end. In confessing killing about 40 women all around Florida, think Stano embedded embedded have remorse and the table describes how anyone ever incorporated based believes was spent years on death row, even at one point next to another infamous serial killer Ted Bundy,. Stano could be found knitting blankets for children of prisoners and also send Kathy a scarf and hat that she knitted for her once. It was obvious as you read the book and later letters there are verbatim in the Appendix, that Gerald has taken a liking to Kathy. Also Paul Crow asked if she was married. For Kathy, was a difficult and emotional for augeri "get the story" and keep herself sane while this fool thinks of them as friends. The letters in the back of the book are quite significant after reading the story as Kathy intervenes personal observations to explain some of what Gerald writes about. In fact, it is from one of the letters that the authors got the title of the book. Gerald Stano had written to explain how it took a victim, and said very casually that ' embedded find a girl walking .... ". In a second appendix, all letters to his "good friend" Paul Crow are even then.

Describes how Stano is finally convicted and that the murder is what finally gets him executed. The book also has some photographs, but how the authors are quick to say, none of them are creepy. Stano was executed in 1998 and always seems to make people think, has changed his stories, retracted his confessions and blaming Paul Crow while claiming his innocence in a letter left with his lawyer! With her tips to know more than it was before telling his death, never know how many more women killed indeed. However, the suspect who tried to throw the Raven was investigated and cleared of course. Montano in a recent radio interview on Stano said, "I felt it was a very cunning but called media ... self-inflated with a magnificent image of himself ... a lady killer, a real lady killer". I guess that says all but one thing I know for sure is that I did watch strangers differently, no matter how fascinating it may appear, I am careful when I'm out alone. As a resident of Daytona Beach, chills still run up and down my spine as I think all places Stano worked and which are so familiar to me. I wonder every day where I was in a certain time and wasn't really possible, too, I have run into him? Good thing for me, I rarely walk everywhere!

"The Midnight House" Holds Terrorists For Interrogation

AppId is over the quota
AppId is over the quota

You would not want to be in The Midnight House! It is a location where the CIA and other various high security agencies kept their worst terrorists. It is not known except by those that are using it for all types of interrogation including torture of the worst means. Of course it is not known since the United States does not torture those they interrogate! When you read the things that these terrorists performed you might feel The Midnight House is very necessary, like it or not.

This story will take you to many of the areas of the world in which the free world is fighting today to rid the world of the worst terrorists. It takes you on raids and actions including both sides of the war on terror and then takes you in the cells, or whatever you wish to call their walls of imprisonment, to suffer what the prisoners and the interrogators do through time, telling their daily routines while they play mind games with each other.

John Wells had been an agent but needed time off to recover from the rigors of the extreme work these agents perform. John was on a mountain climbing trek when he received a call from his immediate boss, Ellis Shafer requesting that John was desperately needed at work. Reluctantly, John returned to the dangerous grueling work. The agency heads were too secretive about all the things going on in the "prison camps" such as Midnight House was, but needed help finding some terrorists as well as CIA missing agents. Shafer and Wells left after obtaining all the possible information heading for Pakistan, Egypt, and surrounding areas. Wells went into deep cover traveling to and while in the area. Wells was as tough as anyone, mentally or physically, but was he ready for all he would suffer, learn, and observe?

Sometimes in each others company and sometimes not they carried out their mission getting into trouble with local authorities and enemy combatants several times. Their life was hard while they pried into the lives and actions of the agents that were in or had been in the area. Some had disappeared from plain sight. A unit called 673 had secretly been formed for the area and Shafer and Wells were to search for the group, if any were left, and the past members that had disappeared from the face of the earth. Some of the searches led back to Washington, DC and the heads of the involved agencies. How far to go and how far to open cans of worms to their sources?

An excellent spy book as John Well's returns in another one of Alex Berenson's books. Wells ex-love life was a part also. He had a hard time getting Exley out of his mind but she was out of the picture as far as Wells figured. You will not be disappointed as you read and travel to "The Midnight House."

AUSCHWITZ the Nazis and the final solution: book review

AUSCHWITZ the Nazis and the final solution: book review

Professor Satchafunkilus Sir Ian Kershew says ' Auschwitz: The Nazis and the final solution?

"Laurence Rees has cast a new light on how Auschwitz was created and developed in last place of horror".

Professor Satchafunkilus David Cesarai said: "a story of Auschwitz which is accessible and authoritative".

The author, Antony Beevor, said: "great stimulus of Rees to understand the mindset of the guards and administrators SS fields is generated not only by a passionate curiosity, but by an intellectual honesty that the subject needs."

AUSCHWITZ the Nazis and the final solution by Laurence Rees is a shocking account of man's inhumanity to man. I started reading this book as bedtime reading, but after a few evening, could no longer continue reading it before falling to sleep. The man is capable of cruelty; even the cruelest animal on the planet could not match.

After reading this book, now I can understand why the Russians were so merciless when the Germans were retreating from the Russian front. I do not understand that in seven months of war against the Soviets, the Germans took three million Red Army prisoners, and through the course of the war as a whole, of which 5.7 million, a staggering 3.3 million lost their lives in captivity.

Auschwitz was built as a concentration camp and later developed into a mass extermination of people with disabilities, the faint, Jews, Gypsies and others from all countries in Europe-Jews in particular suffered unspeakable cruelties.

A total of 1.1 million human beings — men, women and children-were killed in this one field alone. When questioned after the war, the camp commander Hoess, 21, didn't see any harm in what they had done; He had simply obeyed orders from Heinrich Himmler that it appears, as you read this book, even more enthusiastic than killing Hitler.

The book casts a reflection on sad and cruel Nazi German history between 1938 and 1945.

The feeling I had when reading this book was a kind of desperation and I asked the question, "why?" Why this was allowed the horror to can't happen? Our Governments of the world knew that was going on, but did little. In fact, history records that wasn't mostly individuals, a mere handful of people who have helped thousands to flee. European and American Governments have focused on the war with the exception of the Holocaust. And, as we know, for them the war was approximately six million Jews who perished, but save themselves from Nazi occupation.

I recommend this book as a piece well studied and recorded pre-modern history, which shows the man at its worst.

PS. I found tricky, in fact, impossible to understand such extreme hatred towards the Jews, in particular, and why it remains so today. I can only think of one possible is, one a friend and gave it to me. "Is spiritual. It is beyond our understanding ".

The Fleagle Gang - Betrayed by a Fingerprint - Written by N T Betz

Fleagle Story - Incredible

You better believe it! This story tossed down through the ages, generation after generation, toppled the lives of a community in the roaring 20's, rankled the great plains, and scoured a nation. Little Jake Fleagle, a name innocent enough in conception, appears a bit as one might expect to appear on the Apple Dumpling Gang, in the Little Raskals, or more recently appearing Slappy and the Stinkers. But the man had no dimples, he wasn't cute, and his memory shivers fear though the citizens of southeastern Colorado.

On a warm sunny May afternoon, First National Bank opened for business; a day like any other in 1928. Laughter regaled the prairie, neighbor folks cheerfully greeted each other, and life in rural Lamar, Colorado resounded with pure simplicity. May 23, 1928 echoes through history as the date Lamar, Colorado lost its innocence. Ravaged by murder of prominent citizens, the community changed. Innocence abandoned the towns people, and brash reality filled it's place

The story is told in historic simplicity by one of the community's best, N.T. "Tom" Betz with the expertise and accuracy we've all come to expect from the Betz family. The Betz family published the local paper for many years, including during the time of the robbery. News reals, publications, articles, and people who remember the incident well were interviewed and included for this factual commentary of one of the most magnificent crimes, still 77 years after the event, taunted as the biggest robbery in County History. Details of an intense and on going investigation and search for the men guilty of murder make this a most interesting and profound book. Intriguing commentary, news items, and recounts of historic court room events, tracking options, and numerous "firsts" used in the investigation of the crime and location of the guilty parties make this book a worthy read for anyone interested in history of crime investigations.

Some of the numerous "firsts" in the investigation process included:

* First fingerprint used to identify and locate the guilty party in a murder/robbery.

* First time aeroplanes were used in tracking criminals traveling by vehicle away from a crime.

One interesting aspect of the investigation and search included the various forms of communication used by everyone involved.

* Messages dropped from planes.

* People receiving verbal shouts from passing officials.

* Messages left with injured bystanders.

* Notes written and passed from person to person.

* Telephone messages sent hours after the fact, saved, for hours, in case another message is received.

* Telegraph.

In today's' remarkable world of nanosecond communications, technologically advanced instant forms of transmission, and instant satellite tracking systems reading the historical commentary of first implemented fingerprint and flight tracking gives the reader a comprehension of the extreme radical changes experienced by even basic services across our nation, and around the world.

Tom's rendition of this hellacious scar on Southeastern Colorado History bring tears to the citizens there, and revelations to those who pass through... An understanding of the isolation experienced by those who reside in the area.

Time is of the essence, so the few books I get to read have to capture my interest, or I put them down fast. For more book reviews and writer info, visit my Writer Blog at http://janverhoeff.com/

Murder So Cold by Patricia Springer - True Crime Book Review

AppId is over the quota
AppId is over the quota

Married for eight years, the Smiths seemed the perfect couple. On September 28, 1994, in Portage, Michigan, Candace Smith was told by her father Russ that her mother had run away with another man. But he never explained to the young seven year old child why the bathroom upstairs was a wreck and why there was blood in the sink. They then drove miles out of state to her grandparent's house with a barrel loaded into the back of a pickup truck.

I saw this original story on the Crime & Investigation channel and wanted to know more and so I ordered the book online. I was right in that there was so much more information in the book which obviously they could not all fit onto a half an hour show. I am amazed at how this man got away with murder for so long. In fact he was only caught by a cold case squad a few years later. The original investigators seemed to be incompetent in that they dismissed the case as a woman who had run away from home despite relatives and friends assurances that she would never have left her child. It seems that if you murder someone and hide the body well enough (and this man travelled miles with the body) the chances are very good that you might get away with murder. This murderer was blatant in his actions even remodelling his bathroom. The amazing thing is you could think that maybe this was so long ago that the investigators were perhaps not so well trained that they did not know how to conduct an investigation but this case was as recent as 1994.

The entire time I read this book I had a constant feeling of disbelief that this man was not getting caught so I can well imagine the reactions of the people close to the victim. They had to live the nightmare and incompetence in the investigation of this case. I was also constantly worrying about the child still with this unstable father.

The book reads well but was a bit of a disappointment as I had watched the tv program before so I knew about the main twists and turns. Paricia Springer does however fill up the spaces in between with pertinent information and a few surprises here and there. I would recommend this book if you are passionate about true crime books and especially if you have never seen the tv program before.

I suggest accessing other reviews from readers of true crime stories before making an online book purchase.

Kiss Me, Kill Me by Ann Rule - True Crime Book Review

AppId is over the quota
AppId is over the quota

This book has ten true crime stories included. Kiss Me, Kill Me is the longest story with 128 pages and is about a young pregnant mother who gets killed in her home. The other stories "The Postman Only Killed Once", What's Love Got To Do With It? ", "Old Flames Can Burn", The Lonely Hearts Killer", The Captive Bride", "Bad Blind Date", The Highway Accident", You Kill Me...Or I'll Kill You" and "Where Is Julie? " are shorter stories and average about 25 pages each. The common thread in each of these stories and probably why Ann Rule used them all for this crime file is they are all crimes against women and involved a certain element of trust by the victims for the killer.

Suffice to say all Ann Rule books are brilliant. Her ability to take you into the lives of the victim before they get murdered evokes an emotional response as you feel you already know these people by the time they get murdered.

I enjoy the true crime files but feel a little let down by the shorter stories as most of them seem to have the potential to be a full book on their own. Ann Rule has made the comment that she gets asked to write so many books about certain people and criminal acts and really does not have the time to write all of them. The true crime files is her way of writing about as many stories as she can. She mostly chooses stories which are close to her heart as in "Kiss Me, Kill Me" she is a personal friend of the victim's uncle.

I think the True Crime Files are perfect for readers who enjoy true crime stories but do not really like reading big books. In that way Ann Rule has made sure that all her types of readers are satisfied. For me any Ann Rule book is wonderful and I just wish she would write more books. I always wonder when I read a true crime story that I do not enjoy, if Ann Rule would have written it differently and made it a good book. I personally think so. . .

To sum up, I prefer full length stories but I still read the crime files as I will read anything written by Ann Rule.

This is my personal review on Kiss Me, Kill Me written by Ann Rule but I would suggest accessing the opinions of other readers of true crime stories before making an online purchase of a true crime book.
